RequirementsĢ-Bachelor's / Master degree minimum in Petroleum, Chemical or Process Engineering.ģ-Minimum of 5 years experience of Process Engineering within Oil & Gas or EPC company.Ĥ-Knowledge of applicable codes, standards and regulations.ĥ-Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and process simulation software ASPEN, PIPESIM (or similar).Ħ-Ability to work and set priorities in a multi-task environment (multiple and diverse assignments).ħ-Self motivation - ability to work organize and complete tasks without direction.Ĩ-Excellent communications skills and ability to work with operations, projects, third parties and regulatory agencies.ĩ-Work well in a team environment with other technical and operations staff and engineering contractors. Process simulation using ASPEN, PIPESIM (or similar).Ĥ-Reviewing and providing input and benefit/risk recommendations on processing alternatives to meet business objectives for new and revamp projects.
Process calculation and support to operation as and when required with a high priority.Ģ-Process analysis, troubleshooting and Plant / Equipment Optimization, on operating facilities and identify new operating philosophies / technology opportunities where possible.ģ-Generate process design including plant models (HYSYS), process flow diagrams and heat and material balances. This involves surface facility engineering (pipelines, gas oil separation and gas utilization, power plant etc.), General knowledge of Discipline Engineering (Mechanical, Piping, Equipment, Tanks, Vessels, Pumps, Compressors, Chemical Injection, etc) and an appreciation of operational related issues.ġ-Provide timely support to operation in identifying operation-related problems and developing cost effective solutions. Key areas of focus for the Process include: providing plant trouble-shooting, optimization and operations support and providing technical support to field operations team. The Process Engineer is responsible for Process Engineering, Projects and for ongoing improvement in existing facilities within the Wintershall-Libya Field.
